Biography:

Nurse Joyce is a registered nurse- lactation consultant who has helped over 1000 mothers and babies in their breastfeeding struggles.  She conducts breastfeeding classes--both prenatal and postnatal classes.  She does lactation support in the hospital, community and at home.  She believes that breastfeeding is one of the essential strategies to promote better infant and maternal health.

Her professional belief is: “Maternal and Child Health is essential part of health care continuum. When a mother is pregnant and gives birth, a child is born; it is then a start of a life cycle.  Promoting health and wellness during this critical stage promotes better health to the community’s future. A nurse who touches lives during this vital event is a nurse that heals the future.”
